I was the primary artist on this map from the first paper map / blockout phase. I worked closely with the level designer to come up with the key ideas for this map and then iterated on the paper map with him. Once the paper map was solid, I blocked out the space in the engine and then iterated extensively with design to flesh it out. I was the sole artist on the map through the end of the first art pass. After the first art pass, I moved on to work on other maps that were higher priority. At some point, there was a significant story change that precipitated some medium scale layout changes, and another artist took over the map to do the final art pass and layout adjustments.
